The tech, CJ, arrived early, after calling to insure it was alright. After examining the closer (old and broken) and the door, he recommended replacement. Within an hour he had the old one out, the new one in, and we were up and running. I recommend CJ if you need a new opener.

guys were friendly/nice .. however, prices quoted seemed very high.. remotes are like 160.00 and new garage door opener $1,000.00 ! can buy new for 180.00 to 220.00 , so install is about 750.00 to 800.00 .. 500.00 to 625.00 seems more appropriate

This weekend, we heard a terrible sound from our garage and after investigation found that one of our springs had ruptured and our garage door would no longer function. I got online with Precision to schedule a no cost visit to access the problem and determine next steps. The service technician, Nick, called that morning to see about coming sooner than the originally scheduled time slot and he arrived promptly and was very courteous and thorough in his evaluation and he performed the spring repair promptly. My only complaint with Precision is that the cost of the repair was extremely high; with estimates being around $150-$250/spring and then getting the only option available for the Precision springs being their brand of spring at a cost of $415/each, I was shocked! The expense went from being one that was estimated to be around $600 all-in to one that was over $1000. This is too much and will cause one to rethink working with Precision again or even thinking about doing the repair on one’s own - taking this risk of injury or quality of work that would come with it. $1000 is just too much to bear in these times. It’s my hope Precision can do something after the fact to reduce this cost and to consider more affordable spring repair options for customers in the future. In the end, great service, timely response, great technician, great quality of work… just way too expensive and it’s my hope Precision can find more affordable options for customers as going back to them again for any repeat business will be very hard for me after getting a charge like this for a spring repair which should have been $600-$700 max.

Called them late Friday night. They showed up Saturday when they said they would. The tech was very friendly and installed our two new springs quickly. Cleaned up the floor and explained everything again on the bill. We have used Precision several times. Would highly recommend.

Saturday afternoon: WHAM! Heard loud noise in garage, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Until tried to leave and garage door would not open. I thought you could release the manual lever and lift the door open. However, I did not have 6 other guys handy to lift a 1200 pound wooden double door. :( I researched Angi's list which is helpful, but the 1st company did not have an appointment until Thursday. I just happened to have a flyer in the mail and responded to their Ad. Nick said he would be there Sunday morning early and finished in 1 hour. We had to use Uber twice Saturday night and very grateful we didn't have to repeat this Sunday or Monday. Very Much Appreciate the Service.

I had a spring break on a very heavy garage door. I called and the next day (offered same day but I had a conflict) Nick G came out. He was very friendly and got me back in business in an hour. Nick did a great job of fixing our Garage door. Nice and friendly and explained what he was going to do to fix the issue. You can count on Nick to fix your Garage door issues. The next comments are for Precision Overhead Door company. I was charged $20 for gas. I was also charged a 3% fee for using a credit card. None of these things were done in the past. Just something to think about if you decide to use Precision Overhead Door company. The service itself was awesome which is why I gave them a five star rating. I just never heard of a company like this charging the credit card fee and charging for gas as well. Interesting.

Shell shocked to be charged $670.00 to replace spring on garage door. When looking online see average price should be around $350.00. Service tech was good but feel ripped off by pricing

Truth be told, I randomly selected them last February when I needed a new garage door opener motor. They installed quickly and got me up and running. But the true value from Precision was more obvious when there was an issue. Michelle and Marco worked tirelessly to make sure my issue was resolved, and I dare say I'm better off now than I was before the issue even began. Top notch! I'll recommend them to anyone with a gate or a garage!
