Work performed was OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE. A simple query indicates the following: "Torsion springs usually cost between $180 and $320 for replacement, while extension springs often cost between $170 and $240 for a pair." I think that you SIGNIFICANTLY overcharged me for this repair and I am NOT IMPRESSED! The repair at most should have been $400 ____________________ Another on reddit posted I install garage doors and if you want the real price it’s about 35-42 per spring 24 for a 16 foot shaft and 20 for drums and berring brackets plus the berring between the springs and 4 bucks for the spring bracket. We had a problem with our garage door opener, and we called Precision Garage Door of Dallas on a Saturday morning. They were able to send out a technician right away. Erik came out and diagnosed the problem. He gave us several options and explained them to us. We chose the one that was best for us, and he immediately began the repair and replacement. I was very disappointed in the service I received as far as advising me to replace my garage door opener. When the problem was replacing the belt, some of the rubber teeth grinded down. And the specialist informed me that you can't just replace the belt, belt and trolley is attached to the opener. And provided me quotes of $1600-$1700.00 for a new opener. I was just laughing inside. Thank him for the estimate, paid the service fee. And having the belt replaced and cost me only $33.00 for the belt. I would change the logo song, Trust, I think not.

Carlos came to my home and installed (half way) a garage opener. and then a rollers and a new hinge. He did NOT look over the installation area at all, though I assumed he did. He gave me 3 choices and i chose the middle option. during the course of the installation, he told me a needed new rollers, extra charge. then I needed a new hinge, extra charge. IF he had inspected the area prior to giving me these "options" i would have chose the lower tier to fit into my budget. From the get go i told him and i was very clear and stern, I don't want to go over 1600$, and he said no problem. because of these extras it ended up being closer to 2100$. When he left the site the job, in my eyes, was not complete. The door could not be opened and closed under power because the board that the railing was installed on was not secured to a stud and was basicly FREE FLOATING. I was told just get some slag bolts and put them in certain spots and it should be fine. I made an error in judgment by agreeing that this was fine at the time. I went and bought additional hardware to finish up this half done installation that I paid for. I tried to install the bolts but could not so i called to have them send the tech to finish it up. Carlos got to my home and then asked me for CASH to finish up the installation, or i would have to deal with "them"" motioning to the logo on his truck. I Became Furious, and demanded he leave my property. he backtracked at this point and said he would do it for free, however I wont have someone in my home whom I perceive as now totally untrustworthy. I got on the webpage and contacted support via chat and they ASSURED me they would get a manager/supervisor to call me and sort this out. (I'm writing this review 4 days after that and I am STILL waiting on a callback) i contacted chat support again and they said "they would sent an urgent email for callback". I am the point that if I don't get some sort of contact with a path to resolution to this, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and getting another company to come finished this half-done installation. in short, this has been a horrible experience from start to ..... (still has yet to be finished) original install date: 6/22/23 todays date: 7/10/23

Precision contacted me almost immediately after I went on their website and asked for a quote. They got technicians out the same day and they arrived right on schedule and gave me advance notice when they were on their way. They quickly analyzed my garage door's issue and explained it to me professionally but understandably. They showed me parts that had broken and explained what those parts did and what would be necessary to fix the issue (in this case a whole new opener, as the one that broke was from the 70s, so it was time). Their pricing was fair and upfront and there were no surprises at the end. Both technicians were extremely professional and polite and got the work done quickly (and surprisingly quietly). When all was done they showed me how my new system worked and left a clean work area behind them. All in all it was stress-free and excellent service.
