I will highly recommend doing business again with this company. Communication was clear and consistent all the way up to the point of service tech showing up to my door. My service guy, Evan is honest, courteous, and professional service tech. He was reasonably quick given the amount of work he had to do. He recommended a “rebuild” given my house is from the 1950’s and the previous home owner barely did any upkeep. The garage door itself is from the 90’s. I initially knew it was going to need a lot more work other than realignment and lubricating the moving parts but didn’t know what to expect. Evan did a full survey within 15 minutes. Made a list of everything it needed, broke it down to me in order of priority (in case I didn’t feel comfortable doing all the work in one go), he didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need like a whole new garage door or new garage door opener ($$$$) he made it easy to make a no pressure decision on the spot. He listed everything out in front of me in real time on his iPad. All the parts I needed he had them ready on the service truck so no running around trying to finds parts or special ordering anything and coming back at a later time. Once the work was done looking at the parts and craftsmanship, everything is quality. I understand now how they back up a 5 year warranty on parts and labor. Thanks Precision garage door and Evan! Overall, the service was good and well done. However, the tech put a giant sticker over the automatic door warning, which is required for liability purposes when we rent our house, since the door can automatically open/close remotely. The tech also scratched out the manufacture date on our garage opener unit, and then tried to explain how old our unit was. Both of those things turned me off a little. Would I use them again? I probably would, since they came out very short notice (same day), but I'll feel compelled to supervise them.
