Precision Garage Door installed a new garage door for me about 6 months ago. All went well with that. Due to my request, they returned yesterday to make sure all was well adjusted and working well before cold weather arrives. Very nice, professional, competent young men both times. Eduardo, the technician who came to repair our garage door was courteous and professional. My appointment time was between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Eduardo called me at 4:00 pm to make sure I was still available for my appointment. Eduardo was across town and told me his estimated time of arrival would be around 5:00 pm due to traffic. Eduardo arrived at 4:50 pm. He and my husband assessed the problem and it was quickly resolved. Eduardo then serviced our garage door opener. I was pleasantly surprised by his willingness to make sure we were happy with his service. It was refreshing to deal with a person wanting to do his best for you. Thank you Eduardo.

I called Precision Garage Door to come out for a consultation and an estimate for a new garage door. I made the choice to call Precision based on websites, reviews, and a pic of a garage door that we liked. Our current door is older, noisy, dented, and not insulated against the heat & cold. It was quick & easy to set up an appointment for this to happen. Drey was our tech for the appointment arriving on time and is a personable guy that is very knowledgeable in the garage door world. He answered every question that I could throw at him, giving a very “can do” solution for all my concerns with my current garage door situation. End result was that we ordered a new garage door that will be strong, well insulated, attractive, & run quietly, The door was a special order so we are waiting just a few short weeks for arrival and installation. Yes, Drey was courteous. However, I don't understand the lack of professionalism in sending a technician out who brought no tools, not even a grease gun to do any work but still charged a service call fee. I was told when I scheduled that the work could be done same day. He was not in his service truck as it was in the shop, so why come at all? Just for the $70.00 fee, for which I received nothing? we will see if this company is willing to make it right.

I’m not sure it’s possible for someone to be more friendly and efficient than Nick. He showed up the same day I requested service, and was professional, knowledgeable, and kind—with zero judgment about what I didn’t know. As a single female homeowner, I don’t always get this level of respectful, helpful service when dealing with things outside my comfort zone. But Nick was a total standout. It turned out I needed a whole new system, and he had it installed and running within an hour—same day! If I could hire Nick for everything, I would. Trust this company. Their work is excellent and the customer service is the real deal.

We had a problem with our garage door opener, and we called Precision Garage Door of Dallas on a Saturday morning. They were able to send out a technician right away. Erik came out and diagnosed the problem. He gave us several options and explained them to us. We chose the one that was best for us, and he immediately began the repair and replacement. I was very disappointed in the service I received as far as advising me to replace my garage door opener. When the problem was replacing the belt, some of the rubber teeth grinded down. And the specialist informed me that you can't just replace the belt, belt and trolley is attached to the opener. And provided me quotes of $1600-$1700.00 for a new opener. I was just laughing inside. Thank him for the estimate, paid the service fee. And having the belt replaced and cost me only $33.00 for the belt. I would change the logo song, Trust, I think not.

Had the chain on my garage door slip off the sprocket. Called Precision and scheduled appt. for next morning. Received a text and call from Nick next morning. Nick arrived as scheduled. After some discussion, Nick agreed to try a couple options to get chain re-engaged. It took him about 15 minutes and was successful in re-engaging chain. Very pleased that Nick was open to my suggestions, and ultimately successfully repaired the existing garage door opener. Very pleased with service I received.
