Thank you for reaching out. I am disappointed with your companies approach to solving my garage door issue. It seems that the solution to replace my existing opener was incorrect. The technician said that it was the board in the opener that had failed and due to its age they no longer were available. I did my own research and Chamberlain’s website offers a replacement boards for my exact model. Do you want to try again?

A simple query indicates the following: "Torsion springs usually cost between $180 and $320 for replacement, while extension springs often cost between $170 and $240 for a pair." I think that you SIGNIFICANTLY overcharged me for this repair and I am NOT IMPRESSED! The repair at most should have been $400 ____________________ Another on reddit posted I install garage doors and if you want the real price it’s about 35-42 per spring 24 for a 16 foot shaft and 20 for drums and berring brackets plus the berring between the springs and 4 bucks for the spring bracket. The spring broke on our garage door late Friday night (sounds like a big bang). I called Precision early Saturday morning and Ashley was great about scheduling a technician that day. Evan came out and right away knew what the issue was. He inspected it and explained what needed to be done giving all the possible options. He was done within 45 minutes and all has been well! Eduardo, the technician who came to repair our garage door was courteous and professional. My appointment time was between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Eduardo called me at 4:00 pm to make sure I was still available for my appointment. Eduardo was across town and told me his estimated time of arrival would be around 5:00 pm due to traffic. Eduardo arrived at 4:50 pm. He and my husband assessed the problem and it was quickly resolved. Eduardo then serviced our garage door opener. I called Precision Garage Door to come out for a consultation and an estimate for a new garage door. I made the choice to call Precision based on websites, reviews, and a pic of a garage door that we liked. Our current door is older, noisy, dented, and not insulated against the heat & cold. It was quick & easy to set up an appointment for this to happen. Drey was our tech for the appointment arriving on time and is a personable guy that is very knowledgeable in the garage door world. He answered every question that I could throw at him, giving a very “can do” solution for all my concerns with my current garage door situation. End result was that we ordered a new garage door that will be strong, well insulated, attractive, & run quietly, The door was a special order so we are waiting just a few short weeks for arrival and installation. Yes, Drey was courteous. However, I don't understand the lack of professionalism in sending a technician out who brought no tools, not even a grease gun to do any work but still charged a service call fee. I was told when I scheduled that the work could be done same day. He was not in his service truck as it was in the shop, so why come at all? Just for the $70.00 fee, for which I received nothing? we will see if this company is willing to make it right.
