We had a problem with our garage door opener, and we called Precision Garage Door of Dallas on a Saturday morning. They were able to send out a technician right away. Erik came out and diagnosed the problem. He gave us several options and explained them to us. We chose the one that was best for us, and he immediately began the repair and replacement. He completed his work and went through what he had done. We appreciated the quick and competent service. Thank you.

I was very disappointed in the service I received as far as advising me to replace my garage door opener. When the problem was replacing the belt, some of the rubber teeth grinded down. And the specialist informed me that you can't just replace the belt, belt and trolley is attached to the opener. And provided me quotes of $1600-$1700.00 for a new opener. I was just laughing inside. Thank him for the estimate, paid the service fee. And having the belt replaced and cost me only $33.00 for the belt. I would change the logo song, Trust, I think not.

I purchased a garage door after a hail storm less than a year ago. In 2 previous homes, I got 10 plus years of reliable use from builder grade doors and openers. So I was confused to see a popped spring and malfunctioning door. The builder springs were replaced from enclosed springs which looked nicer to exposed springs because that was what had to be done, or so I was told. The screws that were holding the springs were loose so I called to have it looked at. When the tech called me after his inspection, he told me it would be $600 to fix the door. I asked if it was covered under warranty, being under a year, and he said no. I called 2 other door companies and was quoted less than $250 stating that the spring and the cables were fine, but it looked as if the install was not done thoroughly. I was told that the second set screw on the spring was never set as there was only one impression on the rod. Funny that it wasn't covered under warranty, huh. I checked the second door and found the second screw not set on that door either. Still have not been contacted from anyone regarding this. I was sent an email with an online chat link, which I engaged and was told it was not their account. It was to another branch and my information would be sent to that location. Why would I be sent a link to the "wrong" branch? Sound to me like no one wanted to discuss what appears to me as an installation issue. I told the 2 other neighbors I recommended use your company to look for the issues I had with the set screws and they found the same thing. Hopefully this will do some good, but I fear that this review will never find its way on any website.

Our garage door springs snapped late on a Saturday night and after doing a quick internet search for a repair company, we called Precision and they had a service technician at our house on Sunday morning by 9am. Tim (technician) called when he was on the way and came equipped with all the right parts to replace our broken springs. Upon further inspection, he noted that our actual garage door motor was very worn and went over our options in detail. After discussing for a while, we decided to also replace the motor unit with a new one. Our new system is SO quiet and also can be operated from our phones. Extremely happy with the customer service that Precision provided on our initial call, the service and care that Tim took to complete our spring replacement but also the added job of replacing the entire unit. Highly recommend, great job all the way around!

I contacted Precision on a Saturday evening they were at my home the Sunday morning at stated. The service technician Tim was very knowledgeable of what needed to be done and perform his job well. Tim explained everything that needed to be done before and after the job was complete. He found problems that I wasn’t aware of and corrected these problems so future issues wouldn’t happen. I can’t say enough about the work done, but my garage door is operating like a champ.
