I had a great experience with Precision Garage Doors and Jose. The garage door we chose was a special order & took 3 weeks to arrive. Jose answered all my questions & explained the process of installation before he started. He is very pleasant and It was obvious Jose is an expert in his field. When he finished the job, we had a beautiful, heavy duty, very quiet & insulated garage door. The entire installation, with the help of an assistant, took only 4 hours for the double door. The hauling away of the old door, rails, and clean up was all good, too. Precision Garage Doors was easy to contact to set up the initial consultation and estimate. I called Precision Garage Door to come out for a consultation and an estimate for a new garage door. I made the choice to call Precision based on websites, reviews, and a pic of a garage door that we liked. Our current door is older, noisy, dented, and not insulated against the heat & cold. It was quick & easy to set up an appointment for this to happen. Drey was our tech for the appointment arriving on time and is a personable guy that is very knowledgeable in the garage door world. He answered every question that I could throw at him, giving a very “can do” solution for all my concerns with my current garage door situation. End result was that we ordered a new garage door that will be strong, well insulated, attractive, & run quietly, The door was a special order so we are waiting just a few short weeks for arrival and installation. Marco came out to help us program our garage door opener and our electric gate to open with the smart buttons in both of our vehicles. He also made our keypad work again. We had tried to do this ourselves after purchasing a new car and totally messed up the programming we already had. I hadn't been able to use my keypad for months. Marco was so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. He had us all set up in minutes. He is a genius! Thank you for hiring such wonderful young people to help us tech challenged older folks.

Truth be told, I randomly selected them last February when I needed a new garage door opener motor. They installed quickly and got me up and running. But the true value from Precision was more obvious when there was an issue. Michelle and Marco worked tirelessly to make sure my issue was resolved, and I dare say I'm better off now than I was before the issue even began. Top notch! I'll recommend them to anyone with a gate or a garage!

This was a new company for me and I was kind of nervous about using them. No need! Marco was the most professional. He truly wanted to make sure that I felt comfortable with work and that all my questions and concerns were answered. He made me feel like he truly cared about me and doing a good job. I was verbally quoted a price of $150.00 to $250.00 to replace a spring then I live chatted and they wrote the same quote. Carlos the tech after making the repair told me the cost would be $650.00. This is criminal business practices.

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the technician was a nice guy. My main issue is with the technician supervisor-she seems to be in charge of everything and unwilling to listen. Classic way to take money from people by twisting their arm. The technician came to our house to look at 2 ish sensors and while we were thinking aloud we mentioned that the ac breaker switch might be the problem. When he flipped it- it started working. Charged us 50 dollars for something he didn’t even “diagnose” in precision’s terms. We basically said it out loud. No other tests were done but we are short of 50 bucks for a 4 minute visit. The service operator the day before said it would be a free visit before a quote on the repair. Super unhappy wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Our spring broke on Monday, December 23th, I called and made an appointment for Wednesday 26th, the tech called me when he was on the way, about 45 minutes out. Showed up on time, looked at the spring, quoted me a price and explained what he would be doing. He started with removal of old broken spring, had the new one in place in short order. He noticed that the door was closing too hard and causing door arm to kink up. He fixed this too and reset opener. Excellent service, very fair pricing, tech very knowledgeable. I will be using precision garage door service.
