I found two garage door companies that would fix my door for 1/3 of your cost. I won’t use you again nor will I recommend you to anyone again.

I called for the cost of putting in a spring for my 2 car garage…. Was quoted around $450. I also replaced certain wires on the garage was totally shocked when my bill was over $1,000. I am very unhappy with my experience as i feel your company is gouging me on prices. Your technician was very good. I will never use your company again as your prices are ridiculous. I guess you have to over charge to cover the cost associated with paying Google placing you first on the webpage for searches for garage repairs

Carlos came to my home and installed (half way) a garage opener. and then a rollers and a new hinge. He did NOT look over the installation area at all, though I assumed he did. He gave me 3 choices and i chose the middle option. during the course of the installation, he told me a needed new rollers, extra charge. then I needed a new hinge, extra charge. IF he had inspected the area prior to giving me these "options" i would have chose the lower tier to fit into my budget. From the get go i told him and i was very clear and stern, I don't want to go over 1600$, and he said no problem. because of these extras it ended up being closer to 2100$. When he left the site the job, in my eyes, was not complete. The door could not be opened and closed under power because the board that the railing was installed on was not secured to a stud and was basicly FREE FLOATING. I was told just get some slag bolts and put them in certain spots and it should be fine. I made an error in judgment by agreeing that this was fine at the time. I went and bought additional hardware to finish up this half done installation that I paid for. I tried to install the bolts but could not so i called to have them send the tech to finish it up. Carlos got to my home and then asked me for CASH to finish up the installation, or i would have to deal with "them"" motioning to the logo on his truck. I Became Furious, and demanded he leave my property. he backtracked at this point and said he would do it for free, however I wont have someone in my home whom I perceive as now totally untrustworthy. I got on the webpage and contacted support via chat and they ASSURED me they would get a manager/supervisor to call me and sort this out. (I'm writing this review 4 days after that and I am STILL waiting on a callback) i contacted chat support again and they said "they would sent an urgent email for callback". I am the point that if I don't get some sort of contact with a path to resolution to this, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and getting another company to come finished this half-done installation. in short, this has been a horrible experience from start to ..... (still has yet to be finished) original install date: 6/22/23 todays date: 7/10/23

Mr. Lockhart I am very sorry that it took 4 days for someone to reach out to you as the manager was on vacation and today is the first I have seen of this. I spoke to my manager earlier and she was coming to your residence to correct this situation. A situation that should have never taken place to start with. I appreciate your honesty in this situation and the situation with Carlos as well. If these things happen (which they NEVER should) and I am not informed I will never know and this is NOT how I plan to run this business. Our customers are our number one priority. I am truly sorry for the experience you had with Carlos, this will be handled. However, I hope that Michelle and Chris were able to correct your issue and everything is up and running as it should. There are no words for this except I truly apologize. I appreciate you giving us the opportunity to correct the behavior and work of the technician. If you should ever need anything please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank You and have a wonderful evening

Terrible service. They send a sales guy, Caesar who recommended a new gate opener. I took his advice and spent about 6K. After one week opener stopped working. Now they are keep rescheduling appointment. Almost a month I still can not close my gate. They are very friendly over the phone but no service. Please be careful before hiring this company. Today July 4th, I wasted my afternoon waiting for them till I called them and find out another reschedule. I should have researched this company before I paid them. As I can see now they do not work on iron gate opener but they did it any way. Also they supposed to be open till 6 pm today but no one would help. Wrong way doing business.
- Kristy Smith
Mr. Niaz I would like to apologize for the unnecessary events you have encountered while doing business with my company. I know there had been some scheduling issues and miscommunication issues on the 4th of July when we came to install. I know that we have since been to your residence and I hope that everything is satisfactory. I know that my manager had sent you a video of the work performed. There are no excuses for our lack of communication and errors and I am sorry that we failed you in customer service. However I hope that we have corrected that issue and if there is ever anything we can do for you in the future please do not hesitate to let us know. Have a great day!

I wish I could give 5 stars, but the scheduling and customer service team are rude, uncaring, and lie just to get you off the line. I have been a loyal customer for 2 years now and will not be returning even though the techs are great.

Good Morning I am very sorry that you have had issues within our customer service department. I tried personally to call you right after Kameron had met with you, as he informed me that you did not go with the tracks on the door. I was calling to see how your service was and to let you know I was mailing you a refund check for that amount. I did leave a message, However I called from an out of state number so maybe this is why I never got a return call. I personally do not want to lose your business over customer service. I would love to speak with you, I will try reaching out again.

The WORST customer service. I had an appointment from 8-12 on Monday morning. I received an email at 8:00 AM stating the technician would be at my home between 8 and 10 AM. I called a little before 10 and was told I was moved to 10-12 noon and the technician would be calling me soon saying he was on his way. At 12 noon I called and they would check with the technician to see where he was. I called again at 1PM. I was told they would check and call me back. I called at 2 PM and was told they would have the technician call me. Cameron, the technician, finally called at 2:57 PM and said he was on his way and would be at my house in 5 minutes. 45 minutes later I called him. He said he was given the wrong address but was on his way. He finally showed up at 3:52 with no apology just his excuse that he was over worked and over booked and too busy to call to let me know he would be late. Zero communication. Showing up 6 hours past the email stated time with no communication from the technician or the office is inexcusable.

Terrible company. Do NOT waste your money. Tech came out on a Saturday. He said we needed a new opener unit. We paid in full (which we should not have done). We were told they would install on Monday between 10:00 and 12:00. No one showed up. No one called to let us know why. I called the company. Nobody seemed to know anything but finally said they hadn't received a work order. We never got a work order. It's now 3:00 and no answers on how to fix this problem from the company even though someone said they would get back to me. This company is unreliable, unprofessional, and very unorganized. Go somewhere else and save yourself a headache.

Gate operator service: Poor consultation during first appointment. I was told I needed the bigger batteries for the gate opener. I was told these were lift master batteries, and had to be ordered and they were expensive. After doing some research after the work was done, I discovered I was overcharged by more double… I would not recommend this company for service. Dishonest! Learned my lesson for not sitting on things for a day or two to do research before I had them do some work. Also, they did not even check the solar panel to make sure that it was doing its job.

Only giving 1 star because no option for 0 star. Ordeal w/ Precision Door (PD) started on 7/5/22. Technician was several hours late but he did call and came anyway. Decision made: Order new door and a garage door opener. Check for 1/2 of quoted price given to Tech as deposit. Note: on 7/5 received msg from owner Ray Smith thanking me for my business. Last line of this msg and I quote: "If for any reason you are not totally satisfied, I would consider it a favor if your called and gave me the opportunity to redress the situation." I did call 5 times - Never received a response. 7/19/22 - started making numerous calls to check status of order since not getting any communications for PD. Delay after delay. You have to call into a call center who cannot check status of orders so as a result msgs have to be left with no responses most times so I kept calling day after day to check status. 9/20/22 - Last verbal communication made with PD was with GM from Houston office. He is sorry I am upset however he informed my that my constant calling would not expedite my order and my condescending attitude toward PD employees would not speed up process either. Apparently I am not allowed to be frustrated or share my concerns (sometimes heatedly) regarding PD's apparent lack of communication and customer service. As of this writing/review, PD is still waiting for update, truck lands Thursday (9/22) w/door and they are praying that they give them an update then. Well, I pray people read this and don't go through what I am going through. I will not bother to call again to check status and can only hope that my order is received and installed soon but have no idea when that might be. After completion - I will have nothing to do with this company every again. Any updates/maintenance I will find another company. Precision Door, in my opinion, only cares about their bottom line. My recommendation to anyone that reads this and is considering calling Precision Door - reconsider - they are not the name to trust!!!!

I found this company on the internet and called for gate opening service. They came out promptly and provided a proposal. I even received an email from someone named Ray Smith who said he was the owner and let him know if we had any issues. I called after receiving the proposal to clarify some details and asked to speak to Drey who sent the proposal. No call back from Drey. Called the next day and left a message. Again, no return call. I then called the number from Ray Smith's email. I got the receptionist who would not put me through to Smith. I left a third message for the tech. AGAIN, no return call. The total on the proposal was over 4,000.00. Guess they don't need the business. Ray, don't send emails to prospective clients if you have no intention of speaking with them.

Technician was injured when he arrived on the job and indicated everything was okay with garage door, but indicated he oiled everything. The door is still noisy; therefore, his work did not improve the working of the door. The technician indicated the charges still apply which I paid. I told the technician he should seek medical help.

I was not very satisfied with the service from Precision Garage Door. I requested that the technician perform routine maintenance and check up on my garage door. The service was very expensive. In addition to the cost of parts, there was door lubrication and labor cost that totaled $740. The technician replaced all of the roller because he said it would make the garage door quieter, but it did not. I'm not convince it was necessary. I asked the technician if I should remove my car from the garage, but he said it was not necessary. When the service was complete, my car was covered with oil from the lubricant he sprayed all over the garage door. I had to get my car detailed to clean up all the oil that was sprayed on my car. I don't think I would recommend Precision Garage Door to anyone.

I was verbally quoted a price of $150.00 to $250.00 to replace a spring then I live chatted and they wrote the same quote. Carlos the tech after making the repair told me the cost would be $650.00. This is criminal business practices.

My tech arrived on time following a phone call 30 mins prior. He lubricated the chain, and turned a screw to adjust the stopping point, then told me it would be $450 for the 4 minutes of "work". I told him that was preposterous. He discounted it $100 under protest. I would advise everyone to look elsewhere for gate repairs. No where do they state that these fees are mandatory if they show up. Furious...

Why was I quoted 195 to install a garage door I purchased and you technician charged me 288? When I questioned him about it, he said it was labor. I explained the entire 195 was labor since i bought the garage door. Someone owes me $93 plus tax.

PRECISION GARAGE DOOR REPAIR. This is just a heads up if you need any service to your garage door. They charge more than anyone else, and treat me like this. This the the letter I sent them this morning. First of all we are not a "valued customer". I called an hour after our service yesterday and stated that the service man you sent out, did not fix our problem, but instead serviced the unit and changed us $270 for something I did not even want or need. I pointed out where the issue was, and that it works from time to time, but the part needed to be replaced. The first time we left the house, the garage door still won't open or close, the same as the day before and I called just an hour after he left. When I called I requested some other man come out and repair, and was told they would come between 2-4 pm. We waited all day, someone called about 1pm and asked what the issue was, and I told him (as I did the first service man). He said he would have some one call me. No one did. I can't tell you how crappy your customer service is. I do have a large social media presence and I will for sure let all my customers, and on facebook, next door and any where I can, know how you operate. I will call someone else to repair my garage, and if you do not return my check, that will show how much you value customer service. Precision Door Service is a misnomer.

I brought 2 new garage door Precision garage door. I choose this company because of the name, precision. But their service is bad. I had to call twice the first time to get them to come out and install the doors. After 3 to 4 weeks one door was having trouble opening and the other door bent on the top panel. I called them again. They came out ok, but with the wrong panel. This was in March. After calling them for weeks and they kept putting me off. I finally got someone out yesterday 5/26/2021. But with no panel. The only responsible one in the whole company was the garage door tech John, he went out of his way to make it right. Finally today 5/27/2021 it was made right. But from March, precision this is not. Don’t call this company. Once they get your money, their attitude is “who are you again” and they forget about you as soon as you hang up.

To whom it may concern: I cannot express how disappointed I am with your company. From day one of doing business with Precision I have had nothing but problem. Let me give some history: 1- based on a suggestion from Precision I purchased a garage door opener from a third party vendor - suggested by a Precision technician while installing an opener an another one of my properties. 2- The day of installation the technician insisted that he could not install the Unit I bought at the recommendation of the Precision technician. 3- I had to purchase a whole new unit from Precision to install. To date I have spent over 3K with Precision on what is supposed to be the #1 unit you sell. 4- The original opener installed blew and at first precision wanted to bill me for a whole new install even though I had warranty. After many arguments precision finally installed a new unit under warranty. 5- Since the install of the second unit I have had intermittent issues with the unit not going down. Precision has sent a technician out twice whom both state nothing is wrong with the opener even though I have shown video of the unit not working. 6- The last vist the manager at precision stated that if the issue happened again they would replace the unit under warranty. 7- Today the technician once again stated that there is nothing wrong with the unit and that is after seeing the video. I once again have been told that there is nothing Precision can do. I am sorry but the service provided by precision is unacceptable. I have yet to get the service Precision is committed to providing. Your warranties are not honored and your team does not do the right thing. What they do is find excuses to not provide a device that works. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well giving details feedback on consumer review website. I do not accept “nothing we can do”! Thanks

They get 1 star because I could not give them 0. The technician tried to up sell my why equipment and service we did not need and then did not show up for the installation appointment. We cancelled and bought a garage door opener at Home Depot and had it installed, it cos less than half of what Precision quoted.

These people are crooked! I had a technician come to my house for a simple reprogramming of my garage door opener and remotes. He told me that the opener, which was only 4 years old, had to be replaced, and presented me with an estimate for over $1000.00 to replace the opener. I was charged $149 for the visit. I had another company come the next day and tell me there was absolutely nothing wrong with the opener.

My dad called me at work and said the repairman was replacing the springs for nearly a thousand dollars. In shock, I told him we needed a second opinion. My dad told the repairman the price was just too steep for us and only then the repairman offered to use "regular" springs. It was $571.00. And he told my dad how to open and close the door manually because the opener still doesn't work. He was nice enough to bolt a little lock on the door frame.
