The most pleasant experience in 37 years at my home was this door replacement. My old door had bent and jammed, leaving my garage permanently closed. I called Precision and Nick came out and patiently explained my options, with me deciding on a basic steel door. I chose the 6 month deferred finance option, realizing after Nick left that I had picked the wrong option. This is where Stacy entered the picture. She was very knowledgeable and patient, informing me that she could switch my financing option to the one I really wanted. Stacy became my touch point with Precision and was always a delight with every question answered. The installation was promptly performed by Chris the day after I met with Nick. Chris was also wonderful to work with and it still amazes me that one person (alone) can remove a jammed door and install a new one. I fear I kept him an extra hour at our house because we talked about unrelated issues so much. The door and opener work perfectly and the door is so well balanced that I can open it easily even without an exterior handle. I wish all my home maintenance was this pleasant. PRECISION GARAGE DOOR REPAIR. This is just a heads up if you need any service to your garage door. They charge more than anyone else, and treat me like this. This the the letter I sent them this morning. First of all we are not a "valued customer". I called an hour after our service yesterday and stated that the service man you sent out, did not fix our problem, but instead serviced the unit and changed us $270 for something I did not even want or need. I pointed out where the issue was, and that it works from time to time, but the part needed to be replaced. The first time we left the house, the garage door still won't open or close, the same as the day before and I called just an hour after he left. When I called I requested some other man come out and repair, and was told they would come between 2-4 pm. We waited all day, someone called about 1pm and asked what the issue was, and I told him (as I did the first service man). He said he would have some one call me. No one did. I can't tell you how crappy your customer service is. I do have a large social media presence and I will for sure let all my customers, and on facebook, next door and any where I can, know how you operate. I will call someone else to repair my garage, and if you do not return my check, that will show how much you value customer service. Precision Door Service is a misnomer.
