We had a problem with our garage door opener, and we called Precision Garage Door of Dallas on a Saturday morning. They were able to send out a technician right away. Erik came out and diagnosed the problem. He gave us several options and explained them to us. We chose the one that was best for us, and he immediately began the repair and replacement. I was very disappointed in the service I received as far as advising me to replace my garage door opener. When the problem was replacing the belt, some of the rubber teeth grinded down. And the specialist informed me that you can't just replace the belt, belt and trolley is attached to the opener. And provided me quotes of $1600-$1700.00 for a new opener. I was just laughing inside. Thank him for the estimate, paid the service fee. And having the belt replaced and cost me only $33.00 for the belt. I would change the logo song, Trust, I think not.

Had the chain on my garage door slip off the sprocket. Called Precision and scheduled appt. for next morning. Received a text and call from Nick next morning. Nick arrived as scheduled. After some discussion, Nick agreed to try a couple options to get chain re-engaged. It took him about 15 minutes and was successful in re-engaging chain. Very pleased that Nick was open to my suggestions, and ultimately successfully repaired the existing garage door opener. Very pleased with service I received.

1. The appointment was between 8am and 10 ( confirmed both on email as well as text message to my cell phone )however, the technician NEVER showed up. I have made two telephone calls and was told that the technician will contact us. At 10:30 AM the technician calls to say that he’ll be there in 10 minutes. Two hours later, he was still not there. I canceled the appointment. 2. I then received two bills for work done at some other locations and signed by other persons but addressed to me amounting to a total of $4000. I called the billing department and they confirmed that no work was done in our house and the manager will call back to address this. Never received a call.

I really liked the service I got. I like the product, I like the way it was installed, and I like the way I was handled as a customer. So hard to find service in these times where “the customer is king”. I especially want to call out our technician Marco. He was super good, great attitude, answered all questions and gave good advice. He went out of his way to make me happy and he even returned the next day to help getting a remote on my truck to work, I really appreciate his service. I don’t remember the technicians name, but he done a great job. After inspecting everything and noted the needed repairs and gave me an estimate. He worked fast and efficiently, repairing everything needed. He then corrected some mistakes and things left incomplete by a previous technician (not from this company). I really enjoyed the interaction with him as he worked. If I every need work done on my garage door again, I will definitely call Precision Door Service. Highly recommend.

My tech Nick quickly accessed the situation, he gave me three options and explained his recommendation thoroughly. Then he went to work. The tech they sent was clueless. He did not fix my problem, but wanted to sell me a $3900 gate motor. Turns out they work on garage doors, not gate openers. I thought I would be getting an experienced repair person with knowledge of my equipment. That is not what I got. I wasted $70 on an untrained beginner.
