Saturday afternoon: WHAM! Heard loud noise in garage, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Until tried to leave and garage door would not open. I thought you could release the manual lever and lift the door open. However, I did not have 6 other guys handy to lift a 1200 pound wooden double door. :( I researched Angi's list which is helpful, but the 1st company did not have an appointment until Thursday. I just happened to have a flyer in the mail and responded to their Ad. Nick said he would be there Sunday morning early and finished in 1 hour. We had to use Uber twice Saturday night and very grateful we didn't have to repeat this Sunday or Monday. Very Much Appreciate the Service.

I had a spring break on a very heavy garage door. I called and the next day (offered same day but I had a conflict) Nick G came out. He was very friendly and got me back in business in an hour. Competitively priced and exceeded my expectations. Its nice to do business with folks who care! Thanks for helping me out!!

Nick did a great job of fixing our Garage door. Nice and friendly and explained what he was going to do to fix the issue. You can count on Nick to fix your Garage door issues. The next comments are for Precision Overhead Door company. I was charged $20 for gas. I was also charged a 3% fee for using a credit card. None of these things were done in the past. Just something to think about if you decide to use Precision Overhead Door company. The service itself was awesome which is why I gave them a five star rating. I just never heard of a company like this charging the credit card fee and charging for gas as well. Interesting.

Shell shocked to be charged $670.00 to replace spring on garage door. When looking online see average price should be around $350.00. Service tech was good but feel ripped off by pricing

Truth be told, I randomly selected them last February when I needed a new garage door opener motor. They installed quickly and got me up and running. But the true value from Precision was more obvious when there was an issue. Michelle and Marco worked tirelessly to make sure my issue was resolved, and I dare say I'm better off now than I was before the issue even began. Top notch! I'll recommend them to anyone with a gate or a garage!

This was a new company for me and I was kind of nervous about using them. No need! Marco was the most professional. He truly wanted to make sure that I felt comfortable with work and that all my questions and concerns were answered. He made me feel like he truly cared about me and doing a good job. He was very knowledgeable, quick with the repairs; yet patient enough to do the best job. I will continue to use this company and I have even written a post on our Nextdoor app and one of my neighbors used your services that same day with outstanding results as well. A+++++!!

I called for the cost of putting in a spring for my 2 car garage…. Was quoted around $450. I also replaced certain wires on the garage was totally shocked when my bill was over $1,000. I am very unhappy with my experience as i feel your company is gouging me on prices. Your technician was very good. I will never use your company again as your prices are ridiculous. I guess you have to over charge to cover the cost associated with paying Google placing you first on the webpage for searches for garage repairs

Setting up the appointment was easy. Repairman arrived on schedule. Repairman was polite and wore a Precision shirt to easily identify him. The service vehicle was clean and new. All very professional. The estimating process was fast. Technical explanation was given for what needed to be done. Precision uses high quality parts to justify the cost. Work was done on a timely basis. Repairman went the extra mile and lubricated a second garage door. Asked for the advertised 5% AAA discount. Received a 2.5% discount. Overall, a good experience.

Found on internet when in a hurry. 5 star rating. Came same morning. Excellent customer service from technicians. Diagnosed problem, very old opener system failing, installed new system in 45 minutes. When they discovered hornets' nest when leaving, insisted on taking my spray can and spraying for me to protect me. I'm a senior citizen. Couldn't ask for more.

Carlos came to my home and installed (half way) a garage opener. and then a rollers and a new hinge. He did NOT look over the installation area at all, though I assumed he did. He gave me 3 choices and i chose the middle option. during the course of the installation, he told me a needed new rollers, extra charge. then I needed a new hinge, extra charge. IF he had inspected the area prior to giving me these "options" i would have chose the lower tier to fit into my budget. From the get go i told him and i was very clear and stern, I don't want to go over 1600$, and he said no problem. because of these extras it ended up being closer to 2100$. When he left the site the job, in my eyes, was not complete. The door could not be opened and closed under power because the board that the railing was installed on was not secured to a stud and was basicly FREE FLOATING. I was told just get some slag bolts and put them in certain spots and it should be fine. I made an error in judgment by agreeing that this was fine at the time. I went and bought additional hardware to finish up this half done installation that I paid for. I tried to install the bolts but could not so i called to have them send the tech to finish it up. Carlos got to my home and then asked me for CASH to finish up the installation, or i would have to deal with "them"" motioning to the logo on his truck. I Became Furious, and demanded he leave my property. he backtracked at this point and said he would do it for free, however I wont have someone in my home whom I perceive as now totally untrustworthy. I got on the webpage and contacted support via chat and they ASSURED me they would get a manager/supervisor to call me and sort this out. (I'm writing this review 4 days after that and I am STILL waiting on a callback) i contacted chat support again and they said "they would sent an urgent email for callback". I am the point that if I don't get some sort of contact with a path to resolution to this, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and getting another company to come finished this half-done installation. in short, this has been a horrible experience from start to ..... (still has yet to be finished) original install date: 6/22/23 todays date: 7/10/23

Mr. Lockhart I am very sorry that it took 4 days for someone to reach out to you as the manager was on vacation and today is the first I have seen of this. I spoke to my manager earlier and she was coming to your residence to correct this situation. A situation that should have never taken place to start with. I appreciate your honesty in this situation and the situation with Carlos as well. If these things happen (which they NEVER should) and I am not informed I will never know and this is NOT how I plan to run this business. Our customers are our number one priority. I am truly sorry for the experience you had with Carlos, this will be handled. However, I hope that Michelle and Chris were able to correct your issue and everything is up and running as it should. There are no words for this except I truly apologize. I appreciate you giving us the opportunity to correct the behavior and work of the technician. Terrible service. They send a sales guy, Caesar who recommended a new gate opener. I took his advice and spent about 6K. After one week opener stopped working. Now they are keep rescheduling appointment. Almost a month I still can not close my gate. They are very friendly over the phone but no service. Please be careful before hiring this company. Today July 4th, I wasted my afternoon waiting for them till I called them and find out another reschedule. I should have researched this company before I paid them. As I can see now they do not work on iron gate opener but they did it any way. Also they supposed to be open till 6 pm today but no one would help. Wrong way doing business.

I chose Precision Door because they were well rated and available same-day on Sunday when I discovered the spring had broken. The tech arrived as scheduled. Evan was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. He worked with me on what needed to be done, fixed everything I requested and went over it all with me when he was done. My garage door opens beautifully and quietly now!

Nothing short of a good experience with Precision Garage Door of Dallas. Drey, the technician was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions concerning our electric gate. I will definitely use Precision Garage Door of Dallas again in the near future.
